This Committee works: 1. to improve conditions by community service more especially as they effect the welfare of women and children. 2. To inspire and work for international understanding. 3. To co-operate with any other organisation having similar objects. 4. To support The Country Women's Association of Victoria Inc. Affiliation with The Associated Country Women of the World.

Our 'all things international' day -Thursday 8th March- International Women's Day
A fantastic day - celebrated by 50 members and guests. Stimulating conversations, women with similar interests meeting up, sharing of ideas.
Suzanne Garrett spoke on ACWW Projects around the world.
Lyn Harris, Miriam Stackhouse & Suzanne Garrett formed a panel taking questions from members on our International Work.
A delightful lunch celebrating International Womens Day.
In the afternoon we focused on our 2012 Country of Study - Cambodia.
Mrs Bopha Lim taught us a few words of Kmher and spoke on Women in Cambodia, today and historically.
Kerrie Meehan of Fairly Cambodian bought a display of goods that she brings from Cambodia to sell. She also spoke of the projects she supports and showed the gathering a film on the development of a Children's Hospital in Cambodian.
Tim Bowman finished the day, speaking on Cambodia with Love and the Who Will Village that this project supports.
